JACQUELINE ANNETTE SUE
Born in Dayton, Ohio, her formative years were spent in Detroit Michigan in the winter and North Middletown, Kentucky in the summer on her grandfather’s farm. her first book Black Seeds in the Blue Grass (1983) is a notable genealogy resource that traces her family back to the year 1767. She earned an Associate of Arts degree at age 18 from Adrian College in Adrian Michigan. Later she moved to San Francisco, attended SF State University and SF Theological Seminary in San Anselmo California receiving degrees from both schools.
Ms. Sue is a retired US Postal Service Executive who worked throughout Northern California, Washington DC, Louisville, Kentucky and Cleveland, Ohio. In the early 1980’s, she was only the third woman and the fist minority female in the history of Marin County California to become Postmaster of a first class post office.
Jacqueline was married for 40 years to Frank Sue who died suddenly in December 2004, Her books are non-fiction, memoir and autobiographical.
